This amendment to the Department of the Interior Appropriations bill package for fiscal year 2020, would halt the rushed environmental review by the Army Corps of Engineers of the Pebble Mine project in Alaska. This open pit mine threatens damage to Katmai and Lake Clark National Parks, iconic wildlife like the brown bear and wild sockeye salmon, and local communities who depend on these resources being healthy. A vote in favor of the measure is the pro-parks vote.
