Since David Bernhardt was confirmed as Deputy Secretary of the Interior in July 2017, he has worked to weaken protections for endangered species, aggressively pushed the agency's 'energy dominance' agenda and willfully ignored science-driven policy. Mr. Bernhardt also has a long list of conflicts of interests from his years of lobbying for the oil and gas industry and other extractive companies. Mr. Bernhardt's actions have and will permanently scar our national parks and public lands. A vote against the measure is the pro-parks vote.
