The Protecting America's Wilderness Act (H.R. 2546) designates over one-million acres of public land as wilderness and also furthers protection for over one-thousand river miles. This land, some of which is park adjacent or administered by NPS, has been deemed to have exceptional value and is worthy of expanded federal protection. A vote for this legislation is the pro-parks vote.

The Great Lakes Restoration Initiative Act (H.R. 4031) helps restore and improve water quality for the 13 national park sites, and over 30 million Americans, that depend on the Great Lakes for drinking water. This bill continues a critical program that the National Park Service utilizes to prevent beach closures, fight invasive species and improve water quality across the Great Lakes region.

The Chaco Cultural Heritage Area Protection Act of 2019 (H.R. 2181) would protect the unique, internationally renowned cultural landscape of one of America's oldest and most sophisticated cultures, represented at Chaco Culture National Historical Park. The bill would withdraw the federal lands within an approximate ten-mile Chaco Protection Zone, from further oil and gas development by the Bureau of Land Management. A vote in favor of the measure is the pro-parks vote.
